1. Information We Collect
We may collect information about you in a variety of ways. The information we may collect via the Services includes:
Personal Data You Provide to Us:
- Account Information: When you register for an account, we collect personal information, such as your name and email address, through Google OAuth. We may also collect your profile picture if provided by Google.
- Google Ads Credentials: To use our Services, you will need to authorize ROAS Ranch to access your Google Ads account. We will store your Google Ads refresh token and your Google Ads Customer ID to make API calls on your behalf. We do not store your Google password.
Data from Google Ads API:
When you connect your Google Ads account, we access and store data related to your Google Ads campaigns, including but not limited to:
- Campaign details (ID, name, status, budget)
- Campaign performance metrics (spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, conversions)
- Ad group details (ID, name, status)
- Keyword details (ID, text, match type, status)
- Campaign location targeting criteria.
This data is used to provide the core functionality of ROAS Ranch, such as automation, monitoring, and analytics.
Data from DataForSEO API:
When you use our keyword and competitor monitoring features, we interact with the DataForSEO API. We may collect and store:
- Keywords you wish to monitor.
- Search engine results page (SERP) data, including organic and paid search results related to your monitored keywords. This may include competitor domain names, ad titles, ad descriptions, and ad positions.
We log API calls made to DataForSEO, which includes your user ID, the API endpoint called, request payload (primarily keywords and targeting parameters), DataForSEO task ID, status codes, status messages, and the source of the call within our application.
Usage Data & Logs:
- Application Logs: We may log standard application usage information, such as IP address (anonymized or pseudonymized where feasible), browser type, operating system, access times, and pages viewed directly before and after accessing the Services for security and operational purposes.
Payment Information (via Stripe):
If you subscribe to paid features, we use Stripe, a third-party payment processor, to handle your payment information. We do not directly collect or store your credit card details or other sensitive billing information. Your payment information is provided directly to Stripe, and its use is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
Having accurate information about you permits us to provide you with a smooth, efficient, and customized experience. Specifically, we may use information collected about you via the Services to:
- Create and manage your account.
- Provide, operate, and maintain our Services, including:
- Connecting to your Google Ads account to retrieve data and perform actions on your behalf (e.g., pausing/enabling campaigns based on your configurations).
- Monitoring keywords and competitor activity using the DataForSEO API.
- Providing analytics and reporting on your ad performance and savings.
- Process your transactions and manage your subscriptions (via Stripe).
- Communicate with you, including responding to your comments, questions, and requests; providing customer service and support; and sending you technical notices, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.
- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with our Services to improve our Services and user experiences.
- Prevent fraudulent transactions, monitor against theft, and protect against criminal activity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Comply with applicable laws, legal processes, or governmental requests.
- Enforce our terms and conditions.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information we have collected about you in certain situations:
- With Third-Party Service Providers:
- Google: To access your Google Ads data via the Google Ads API as authorized by you. Your data is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- DataForSEO: To perform SERP monitoring tasks for keywords you specify. Data shared is typically limited to keywords and targeting parameters. This is subject to DataForSEO's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe: To process payments if you subscribe to paid services. This is subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Hosting and Infrastructure Providers: We use third-party vendors for hosting, database storage (e.g., Google Cloud), and other infrastructure necessary to provide the Services. These providers only process your data on our behalf and under our instructions.
- By Law or to Protect Rights: If we believe the release of information about you is necessary to respond to legal process, to investigate or remedy potential violations of our policies, or to protect the rights, property, and safety of others, we may share your information as permitted or required by any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
- Business Transfers: We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.
- With Your Consent: We may share your information with other third parties with your explicit consent.
4. Data Storage and Security
- Data Storage: Your information, including data synced from Google Ads and DataForSEO, is stored on secure servers located in the United States, operated by our third-party hosting providers (e.g., Google Cloud).
- Security Measures: We use administrative, technical, and physical security measures to help protect your personal information and the data synced from your accounts. These include HTTPS for data in transit and access controls to our infrastructure and databases. While we have taken reasonable steps to secure the personal information you provide to us, please be aware that despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed against any interception or other type of misuse.
- Google Ads Refresh Token: Your Google Ads refresh token is stored in our database. It is not encrypted at rest in our current implementation. We recommend you regularly review applications connected to your Google Account and revoke access if necessary.
- Data Retention:
- We retain your personal account information as long as your account is active. If you close your account, your personal account data will be deleted promptly.
- Data synced from Google Ads and DataForSEO, as well as operational logs (like Celery task logs and DataForSEO API call logs), will be retained as long as necessary to provide the Services to you, for our legitimate business purposes (such as analytics and service improvement), and to comply with our legal obligations. You can request the deletion of this data by contacting support.
- If your Google Ads refresh token becomes invalid (e.g., expires or is revoked by you), we will mark it
as such (
google_ads_token_invalidated_at
) and cease attempting to use it until you re-authorize.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You have certain rights regarding your personal information:
- Access and Update Your Information: You can review and update your basic account information (name, email, picture) by logging into your account or by managing your Google profile. For other information, please contact us.
- Delete Your Information:
- You can request the deletion of your ROAS Ranch account and associated personal data by contacting us at the email below. Upon verification, we will delete your account information.
- You can request the deletion of specific data synced from your Google Ads account or DataForSEO by contacting us at the email below.
- Manage Google Ads Connection:
- You can revoke ROAS Ranch's access to your Google Ads account at any time through your Google Account security settings (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).
- You may also be able to disconnect or manage the Google Ads connection from within the ROAS Ranch application settings.
- Communications: You may opt out of receiving promotional emails from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional communications, such as those about your account or our ongoing business relations.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
ROAS Ranch uses localStorage
in your browser to store your authentication token for session
management. We do not currently use other cookies for tracking or analytics on our main application or landing
page. We do not use third-party analytics services like Google Analytics or advertising pixels at this time.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or 16 in some jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. If you believe that a child under your care has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the email below.
8. International Data Transfers
Our servers and primary operations are located in the United States. If you are accessing our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States. We primarily serve clients located in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top.
